Salad in a Jar

 

Ingredients:

2 lbs of green tomatoes

2 lbs of cucumbers

1 lb of bell peppers

1 lb of onion

3 Tbsp of salt

4 Tbsp of sugar

Vinegar – 1 tsp per each 16 oz

Instructions:

Chop vegetables. Add them to a pot with salt and sugar, bringing the mixture to a boil. Let the mixture boil for 5 minutes, then put into jars.

Add vinegar to each jar. Place the jars into a pot with boiling water up to the “shoulders” for 20 minutes, then seal with lids.
